Flower Pin

This pin is such a cute accessory for anything really. :) It's simple, and you don't really need to go to the store to buy anything.
{TIP} If you have old clothes, use that as fabric. You can use the buttons from old shirts too.
Here's what you'll need:
  • 3 different sized circles of fabric
  • Scissors
  • Thread/Needle
  • small button (Smaller than your last sized circle of fabric)
  • Close Pin

Step 1:
Cut out 3 different sized circular shapes of fabric. (They do not need to be perfect circles)

Step 2: Lay each piece on top of each other directly in the middle.

Step 3: With your thread & needle,  start sewing only in the middle. Make sure you aren't going are over the place, that way the thread doesn't show when you put the button on.
{TIP} Start sewing from the bottom. (Under the fabric)

Step 4: Sew on the button. Go in each direction, or rotate each time you go through the holes.

Step 5: Add the pin on the back. If you don't like the thread showing in the back, you can nicely sew a small piece of fabric to cover it up.

Now you can put you pin on anything you desire: Clothes, Purses, backpacks etc.

Enjoy :-)

So cute! I love this idea! I thought about making crocheted flower pin but this looks much simpler. I think that this craft could even be done by children! So neat! Thanks for sharing!
